I’m Joseph Iovescu (pronounced Yo-ve-scoo), a background painter and visual development currently based in Chicago, Illinois. I graduated from DePaul University in 2022 with a BFA in Animation, and have worked at studios such as Nickelodeon Animation and Xalter Studios. I love bringing world’s to life, especially through light and color. Outside of work, you can most likely find me plein air painting somewhere in Chicago, or powerlifting at the gym.
